You gotta love the Railbike for riding abandoned train tracks. You'll have to make sure that they're abandoned, though, or start riding like Lance Armstrong. For practicality, the [Shopping Cart bike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heybike-hauler) is a winner, it just needs a [kiddy seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urbanisto-ebike) in the back. For flash, the JCycle Nightrider lights up the night. The Soul Cycle pumps up the volume with custom built sound system. And, just for the fun of it, the Golden Gate Bridge Bike is mobile whimsical art. Maybe this will inspire you. Happy hacking! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **DIY Bicycle Hacks:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating innovative and customizable bicycle modifications. - **Railbike Riding:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing specialized bikes for riding on abandoned train tracks. - **Custom Bike Lighting:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in designing creative and eye-catching bike lighting systems. ### Who This Affects Most - **Cycling:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the cycling industry by offering DIY bicycle modification kits. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the outdoor recreation industry by creating specialized bikes for off-road or unconventional terrains. - **Sports Equipment:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the sports equipment industry by developing advanced bike lighting systems for enhanced visibility and safety. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Transforming Furniture Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outlaw-bike.md) - [DIY Bicycle Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-wooden-bicycle.md) - [Cycling Enthusiast Hubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thecyclingcollective.md) - [Vintage Car-Inspired Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mosaic-gt2x-radavist.md) - [Oddball Penny-Farthing Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pennyfarthing-bike.md) - [Lightweight Four-Wheeled Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/activcycle.md) - [Futuristic E-Bike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ebike-concept.md) - [Abandoned Bikes-Turned Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-from-frames.md) - [Compact Foldable City Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-cycle.md)
