Specifically, it is dubbed the Sherman Bike Backpack and it is defined by its [tri-fold design structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ultix-outdoors-superpack) which opens vertically similar to a flap. The concept is that it provides space to hold items that are too large to carry in regular bags between the flaps.
