# Gigantic Children's Toys The World's Biggest Rocking Horse is Over Two Stories Tall By Michael Hines | Published 2010-10-08 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biggest-rocking-horse References: [uniquedaily](http://uniquedaily.com/2010/10/man-builds-worlds-biggest-rocking-horse/) An Israeli carpenter has just built the world’s biggest rocking horse standing 20 feet tall. The horse took the title away from a Japanese team of builders that had held it since 2004. The world’s biggest rocking horse cost over $500,000 to build and took a year to complete. The horse required two tons of wood, over 20,000 screws and nails and 300 liters of paint. Take a look at the finished product in the video above. I challenge you not to want a giant rocking horse of your own after watching it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Gigantic Toys:** Opportunity for companies to create supersized versions of popular toys for a unique and immersive play experience. - **Extreme Carpentry:** Potential for carpenters and builders to create large-scale, attention-grabbing structures that push the limits of traditional woodworking. - **Interactive Play:** Innovative opportunities for designers and manufacturers to develop interactive elements in children's toys that enhance engagement and imagination. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation for toy manufacturers to explore creating larger-than-life versions of popular toys that offer novelty and excitement for children and collectors. - **Carpentry and Construction:** Potential for skilled carpenters and builders to venture into large-scale, custom projects like giant rocking horses, providing unique showpieces and attractions. - **Design and Engineering:** Opportunity for designers and engineers to collaborate on the development of interactive and immersive play experiences that push the boundaries of traditional toys. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Structural Rocking Horses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rocking-horse-chair.md) - [30-Foot Tall Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/megasize-roxie.md) - [Rollercoaster Mascot Debuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/legoland-windsor.md) - [Record-Breaking Gummy Mosaics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gummy-candy-mosaic.md) - [Horse-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-falabella-stool.md) - [Large Animal Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polar-bear-oversized-plush-cuddle-animal-body-pillow.md) - [Record-Breaking Wine Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belaire-zeus.md) - [Life-Sized Electric Toy Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-one-max.md) - [Rechargeable Child Rocket Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/national-geographic-power-rocket.md)
