The unit can be switched up to suit different areas within a home, which makes it perfect for being positioned into a corner or virtually anywhere thanks to its customizable design. A series of platforms and play areas are integrated into the unit to allow one or multiple cats to enjoy their own dedicated area within a space instead of only making use of existing furniture. The Bien Bien Cat Tree is the design work of Cheng-Liang Wu and Chia-Wen Lin of 2pi.Creative Design Co., and is the winner of the Golden Pin Design Award. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Feline Furniture:** Design customizable furniture solutions that cater to the unique needs of pets to create novel experiences for pet owners - **Multi-functional Pet Furniture:** Explore the possibility of combining furniture functions with pet-centric features to create a unique value proposition for both pet owners and their furry friends - **Sustainable Pet Furniture:** Develop pet furniture that is eco-friendly and sustainable to leverage growing consumer demand for ethical and environmentally conscious products ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Furniture:** With the pet industry booming, designing furniture specifically for pets can lead to significant growth opportunities - **Home Furniture:** Integrating pet-specific features into home furniture represents an innovative way of differentiating businesses in a highly crowded and competitive space - **Design Services:** Partnering with pet furniture designers and expanding product lines to address the growing practical and emotional needs of pet owners creates a disruptive innovation opportunity ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Cat Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-cat-trees.md) - [Modular Cat Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinity-diy-cat-tree.md) - [Customizable Feline Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-modular-cat-furniture.md) - [Premium Cat Tree Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-cat-tree.md) - [Pyramidal Feline Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cat-furniture.md) - [Modular Magnetic Cat Walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nyanpeki.md) - [Cityscape-Like Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mocats.md) - [Flatpack Feline Entertainment Towers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-cat-tree.md) - [Modular Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cat-couch-concept.md)
