You contact the bicycle taxidermy website. Regan Appleton will take the [handlebars of your bike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-handlebar) and mount them onto either scored or bleached European [oak wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funeral-for-a-tree). If you were close with your metal steed you have the choice of adding a [stainless steel epitaph](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funerary-urn), saying how long you had it for and a jolly memory or heartfelt quotation. Even when you can no longer hop on your two-wheeler and race down the street, the memory will never leave you. Bicycle Taxidermy will ensure that your handlebars receive special polished treatment and will happily watch over you from a gleaming plaque of wood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 19% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Personalized Memorialization:** Opportunity to offer unique and personalized memorialization services for a variety of objects and belongings - **Sustainable Remembrance:** Opportunity to capitalize on eco-friendly and sustainable options for memorializing items and reducing waste - **Nostalgic Keepsakes:** Opportunity to create sentimental and nostalgic keepsakes out of objects to preserve memories and emotions ### Sectors Adopting This - **Funeral Services:** Incorporating unique and personalized memorialization services into funeral and cremation offerings - **Art and Design:** Partnering with artists and designers to incorporate custom and sustainable memorialization creations into their portfolios - **Home Décor and Giftware:** Creating sentimental items for the home and giftware industry, tapping into the demand for one-of-a-kind and meaningful products ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Abandoned Bikes-Turned Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-from-frames.md) - [Transforming Furniture Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outlaw-bike.md) - [Eco-Friendly Pet Tree Burial Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecofriendly-pet-tree-burial-kit.md) - [Customizable Aluminum-Cast Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heavy-bikes-hypocrite.md) - [Vintage Car-Inspired Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mosaic-gt2x-radavist.md) - [Limited Production Timber Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alfredo-wooden-bikes.md) - [Bespoke Steel E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steel-ebike.md) - [Post-Mortem Pet Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cirius-beam-projector.md) - [Handcrafted Off-Road Timber Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gravel-wood-bike.md)
