The travel mug features a [double-waled stainless vacuum insulated design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffin-drinkware) to keep drinks piping hot, but boasts a flow reservoir in the top section. This uses a series of [aluminum cooling ridges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nekojita-fufu) to help drop the temperature of the coffee one sip at a time. This ensures the person will never burn their tongue on hot coffee or tea again. The KØLINGSIP Tip-And-Sip Hot Beverage Tumbler features a recycled material design and can be purchased via a crowdfunding campaign taking place now. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Temperature-regulating Drinkware:** Companies can create innovative temperature-regulating drinkware that allows consumers to enjoy hot or cold drinks without the risk of discomfort. - **Sustainable Cups and Mugs:** There is an opportunity for the development of sustainable cups and mugs that can reduce waste and promote eco-friendliness in the industry. - **Crowdfunding for Product Launches:** Crowdfunding can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for companies wanting to launch new products while simultaneously creating brand awareness and acquiring early adopters. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Drinkware Industry:** The drinkware industry can capitalize on the trend of innovative temperature-regulating drinkware that caters to consumers' desire for hot or cold beverages without discomfort. - **Eco-friendly Product Industry:** Innovative sustainable cups and mugs can disrupt the eco-friendly product industry by providing a practical solution to reduce waste and promote eco-friendliness. - **Crowdfunding Platforms:** Crowdfunding platforms can disrupt the traditional product launch process by providing an alternative avenue for companies to raise funds, create buzz, and reach early adopters in an efficient and cost-effective manner. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Temperature-Regulating Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cauldryn-coffee-pro.md) - [Twisting Coffee Brewing Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qterra-craft-travel-brewer.md) - [Designer Glass Coffee Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ember-cold-tumbler.md) - [Smart Temperature Control Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-temperature-control-technology.md) - [Desk Thermo Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alessi-buri-tumbler.md) - [Temperature Control Smart Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/temperature-control-smart-mug.md) - [In-Car Cupholder Upgrades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coolper.md) - [Capacious Heated Coffee Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ember-tumbler.md) - [Connected Temperature-Controlled Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cera-m14-mug.md)
