Until now, I was sure that J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien had created two of the most enchanting forests ever, yet I have to admit that the Between the Worlds art installation may have them beat, only because people can actually visit it in the real world. This tribalesque, half-burned forest has a mystical presence that will seep into your bones the moment you set eyes on it.

Created by Matthew Ronay, the Between the Worlds art installation explores the "theme of [bizarre rituals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog), by building an [immersive 'primordial forest,'](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highwood-installation) where visitors are invited to tap into inherited memory and shared mythologies," as Fast Co Design puts it so aptly. Therefore, the Between the Worlds exhibit is transformed into a personal and meaningful space.
