Try cooking an engagement chicken! Allegedly, when Beth Ostrosky wanted Howard Stern to propose, she baked this notorious engagement chicken recipe. Wow, she(potentially)came close to being the next Mrs. Howard Stern through chicken, now that is impressive. This recipe for crispy skinned, lemon flavoured chicken appeared in Glamour magazine in January 2004. Rumour has it, that if a woman cooks this dish for her man he will propose, and many brides swear by it! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celebs](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebs) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Farm Animals to Promote Hygiene](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chickens-stuck-in-sewers-persona-toothbrushes-help-chickens-get-unstuck.md) - [Mid-Air Marriages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mid-air-marriages-in-flight-wedding-ceremonies.md) - [Whimsical Wedding Bouquets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whimsical-wedding-bouquets-customized-floral-arrangements-that-complete-tha.md) - [Personalized Bridezilla Bots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avoiding-wedding-chit-chat-robot-takes-over-brides-duties.md) - [Wedding Emergency Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mojuba-wedding-day-survival-kit.md) - [Political Junk Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leveraging-the-obama-image-german-food-company-launches-fingers-chicken.md)
