The structures are see-through, allowing viewers to understand the power of ecology, and with a small strap attached at the top, the product may also double as a revolutionary hand bag. The Besau Marguerre house produced this framework in association with Italy's *Home Away From Home* exhibition, an event that addresses what life would be like in outer space. According to the company, [plants can sustain human life](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-pot) on planets aside from Earth as flora provides food, oxygen and clothing. This belief in the significance of greenery inspired the [miniature greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-ark-pavilion), and given our undeniable dependence on vegetation, they may be on to something. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Portable Greenhouses:** Designing portable greenhouses that can double as a handbag offers a unique way to encourage ecologically-conscious living. - **Transparent Structures:** Using transparent structures for greenhouse design allows for greater appreciation of ecology and plant life. - **Interstellar Plant Life:** Exploring the potential of plant life sustaining human life on planets outside of Earth can open doors for new research and innovation. ### Where This Applies - **Eco-friendly Gardening:** The design of portable greenhouses suggests a rise in the eco-friendly gardening industry. - **Fashion and Gardening:** Combining the functionality of a handbag with the eco-design of a greenhouse offers opportunities for innovation within the fashion and gardening industries. - **Space Exploration:** The collaboration with the Home Away From Home exhibition and the mention of greenery sustaining human life on other planets suggests potential for innovation and disruption in the space exploration industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Climate-Managing Greenhouse Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/livable-greenhouse.md) - [Greenhouse-Topped Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-house-1.md) - [Greenhouse Office Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-for-roundtable.md) - [Vaulted Glass Roofed Greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-vidrio.md) - [All-Glass Mesmerizing Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beaufort-bushland-retreat.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetment-vegetable-cultivator.md) - [Inflatable Modular Greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/havn.md) - [Sustainable Visitor Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-arc.md) - [Pyramid-Roof Glass Greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-pavilion.md)
