Berserk is an iconic manga series that also taps into themes of fantasy and fans will be excited to hear that the retro series is making its way to Netflix come December 1st. When it first launched back in 1997, the 25-episode series was based on the manga and directed by Naohito Takahashi.

It follows the story of when the character Guts joined the Band of the Hawk and met other main characters including Griffith and Casca. Fans have considered that this may be the best take on the manga series, which can be difficult to replicate. It is also noted by some fans that it may have inspired major anime series including Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist.
