He recently designed a home for a family and included a unique [window seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chapters-furniture) that brings a cozy touch of creativity inside. The shape of the window is abstract, which already is quite unusual. Below it, the [simple seat curve](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strate-bench) a though it were the lower lashes of an eye. By creating such a space, Bernardo Rodrigues manages to appeal to his client's sense of individuality. This desire for something different is evident in many homes as they become smaller and more uniform. By adding such details, people begin to appreciate their home as a reflection of their personality. Not to mention that Bernardo Rodrigues appeals to people's sense of childlike imagination with this particular design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 92% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Abstract Window Seats:** Innovative designs of abstract window seats provide a unique and creative touch to home interiors. - **Cozy Reading Nooks:** The inclusion of cozy reading nooks in homes brings comfort and relaxation to residents. - **Personalized Home Interiors:** Creating homes that reflect individual personality and uniqueness becomes a growing trend in the design industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can explore innovative concepts and materials to create abstract window seats and cozy reading nooks for homes. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can develop specialized seats and structures suitable for abstract window seat designs. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can offer personalized design services to help homeowners create unique and reflective living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arch-chair-design.md) - [Curved Surface Portuguese Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-within-a-few-lines.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md) - [Curvacious Oak Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-seating.md) - [Architect-Inspired Sculptural Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jean-nouvel-11.md) - [Ribbed-Cushioned Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/note-design.md) - [Sculptural Seating Carpets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rondin.md) - [Minimalist Privacy Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furniture-seat-design.md) - [Artful Dynamic Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nook-sofa.md)
