Her interesting [cut-and-paste method of artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folded-echoes) allows her to have complete creative control over every element in her compositions, however she does not go crazy with the [collage concept](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/back-to-basics-ii). Each image actually has the appearance of a [complete photograph](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistedition-jigsaw-puzzles), yet the longer the viewer looks, the more they begin to notice discrepancies in the physical nature of the image. Through her slice-and-stick process, artist Bernardita Aris adds depth to her images and achieves a certain sense of character to her artwork that wouldn't be fulfilled with a normal photograph. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Collage Artwork:** Cut-and-paste method creates new landscapes through collage, paving the way for artists to embody their unique perspectives. - **Creative Control:** Complete creative control in the collage process highlights opportunity for artists to create unconventional, yet stunning artwork. - **Sense of Character:** Collages allow for a sense of character to be present in artwork that may be difficult to achieve in traditional photography. ### Who This Affects Most - **Arts and Entertainment:** The rising trend of collage artwork offers new avenues for artists to experiment and showcase their unique perspectives in the industry. - **Graphic Design:** Collage art could inspire graphic designers to create unique and unconventional design styles. - **Advertising and Marketing:** Collage art could offer a fresh and innovative way to create eye-catching advertisements and marketing materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Sculptural Paper Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragmenti.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Intersecting Dimensional Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diorama.md) - [Structured Art Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowchart.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Laser-Cut Urban Artistry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-cut-city-maps.md)
