The home is called Asa House, as "asa" means "wing" in Portugese. The home [sits atop a hill](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pedro-domingos-arquitectos) and enjoys sweeping views of the lush Brazilian scenerary. The home sits on a sunken lot and was designed with the intention of creating a distinct relationship between nature and architecture. The home has a long row of full-height sliding glass walls which connects the indoors with the outdoors. The landscaping for the home was designed using [plants native to the Atlantic Rainforest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-guapuruvu). The focal point of the home is the wing-shaped roof - a smoothly curved shelter that can be admired inside the living spaces.
