Essentially Bullins has created a bathroom design that uses a bicycle as a sink stand, supporting the weight of a [minimalist white sink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archiplan-compact-basin-collection) and a sleek wooden counter top. For this intriguing design project Bullins used an old bicycle with a vintage look and repurposed it to create an unusually striking bathroom vanity. The bicycle Bullins used is equipped with a little basket, which offers people an interesting way to store face clothes or other bathroom necessities. The imaginative concept sink adds lots of character to this bathroom. People who love one of a kind fixtures will be smitten with this basket-totting [bicycle sink](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draken-bicycle-stand). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Sustainable Design:** Creating bathroom fixtures using repurposed items like bicycles presents an opportunity for sustainable design innovations. - **Integration of Hobbies:** Incorporating hobbies into home decor, such as using a bicycle as a sink stand, allows for unique and personalized design experiences. - **Functional Art:** Combining artistic elements with everyday functionality, like turning a bicycle into a sink stand, opens up possibilities for functional art innovations. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The unique bicycle sink design demonstrates the potential for creative and unconventional home decor products to cater to niche consumer interests. - **Sustainable Furniture:** Repurposing bicycles as bathroom sinks showcases the potential for sustainable furniture designs that incorporate upcycled materials. - **Interior Design:** The integration of hobbies, such as cycling, into interior design offers opportunities for interior designers to create personalized spaces that reflect people's interests and passions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Illuminated Base Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-albumelux.md) - [Slick Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slick-bathroom-sink.md) - [Collaborative Seashell-Like Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spire-washbasin.md) - [Electric Kiln-Made Unique Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-1.md) - [Bike-Friendly Outdoor Benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinajarro-bench.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Abandoned Bikes-Turned Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-from-frames.md) - [Sculptural 3D-Printed Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3d-printed-sink.md) - [Utility-Focused Bathroom Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showdown-system.md)
