These bizarre beings are drawn doing equally bizarre activities. At first glance, Ben Woodward's art appears to be a collection of alien-like beings, but upon further examination one sees that they are fusions of animals and people. While Ben Woodward's drawings certainly depict some monstrous and slightly abnormal scenes such as the human covered in white hair lying on grass and gazing into a mirror while his chest is cut open, there is a certain charm to them as well. Some of the animal and human creations are quite cute and have a very childlike appeal to them. With tons of bright pastels, it is easy to forget that you're looking at some truly strange drawings. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Half-human Half-animal Art:** Artists creating bizarre cartoon drawings of creatures that are half-human and half-animal. - **Eccentric Cartoon Scenes:** Development of eccentric cartoon scenes featuring strange and abnormal activities. - **Childlike Creature Creations:** Creation of cute and childlike creatures in the drawings. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Opportunities for artists and illustrators to explore and create new half-human half-animal characters and drawing techniques. - **Entertainment and Animation:** Potential for innovation in developing new and quirky cartoons for TV and film that feature unique characters and stories. - **Fashion and Merchandising:** Opportunities to create merchandise and fashion lines featuring the cute and childlike characters depicted in the drawings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Hand-Drawn Cartoon NFTs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/madsteez.md) - [Unique Hybrid Mystery Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-x-vegetable-gachapon.md) - [Cartoonish NFT Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/i-like-you-youre-weird.md) - [Creature-Inspired Home Good Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-jeffreys-loverboy.md) - [Wooden Identity Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hughmanity.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Playful Doodle-Emblazoned Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-cox.md) - [Folk Creature Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog.md)
