# Video Game Booze Tables This Super Mario Beer Pong Table Folds into a Carrying Case By Kyle Towers | Published 2013-02-26 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-pong References: [thatsnerdalicious](http://www.thatsnerdalicious.com/beer/bring-this-portable-super-mario-bros-beer-pong-table-to-your-next-party/) & [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/listing/113749426/custom-super-mario-super-mrio-bros-nes?ref=cat1_gallery_35) This table is the ultimate accessory for beer pong and the fact that it includes a map from the [original Super Mario game](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-mario-kart-set) is only part of the reason. The table, which is available for sale by VictoryTailgate on [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scrabble-coffee-table), can be folded up into a traveling case to carry around. This is completely ideal for those who consider themselves professional beer pong players -- there's a league you know -- and do a lot of tournaments on the road. Also included with the incredible table is an attached bottle opener, which only adds to the convenience factor. It is truly the table of nostalgic gamers dreams and I can only imagine hoards of people encouraging the thought of using it for a dinner table as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Gaming-inspired Furniture:** The popularity of gaming culture is inspiring innovative furniture designs like beer pong tables with nostalgic video game themes. - **Portable Gaming Accessories:** The demand for portable gaming accessories is growing, with the Super Mario beer pong table offering a convenient and foldable solution for on-the-go gaming experiences. - **Nostalgic Gaming Products:** Nostalgia-driven products like the Super Mario beer pong table are capitalizing on consumers' desire to rekindle their love for retro gaming experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** The gaming-inspired furniture trend is creating opportunities for furniture manufacturers to create gaming-themed pieces that resonate with nostalgic gamers. - **Gaming Accessories:** The rise of portable gaming accessories opens up avenues for businesses to develop innovative, foldable solutions to enhance the gaming experience on the go. - **Retro Gaming Merchandise:** The demand for nostalgic gaming products presents opportunities for retailers to offer retro-themed merchandise and tap into the gaming nostalgia market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Video Game-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pac-man-side-table.md) - [Vertical Drinking Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-pong.md) - [Hybrid Party Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiburon-tables.md) - [Multifunctional Magnetic Folding Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-table.md) - [Board Game Furniture Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bandpass-design.md) - [Luxury Transparent Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/effetto-71-ping-pong-table.md) - [Boozy Backyard Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-darts.md) - [Insulated Video Game Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-mario-tumbler-book.md) - [Video Game-Inspired Homewares](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-mario-home-adventure-life.md)
