# Bold Beer Bottle Lamps These Beer Bottle Lamps are an Artistic Use of Classic Bottles By Michael Baxter | Published 2014-01-16 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-bottle-lamp References: [thecoolector](http://www.thecoolector.com/beer-bottle-lamps/) & [pearedcreation](http://www.pearedcreation.com/) These beer bottle lamps prove that when you do things DIY, they can turn out pretty awesome. Peared Creations have made a [functional piece of art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/see-earth) out of something many of us use, beer, so naturally, we approve. These beer bottle lamps use vintage American beer bottles in conjunction with a [pipe-based design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wa-lamp). The two things separately don't seem to have much to do with each other, but combined, they end up with a cool vintage look. The lights emitted from the beer light is also a bit more dim, which is cool for ambiance, but don't expect to be able to illuminate your whole living room with this lamp unless you're having a seance. Candles are fantastic, when you get to use them anyway, but beer lamps may be edging them out in cool factor by a smidge. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **DIY Beer Bottle Lamps:** Opportunity for individuals to create unique and artistic lighting fixtures using vintage beer bottles. - **Vintage-inspired Lighting:** Opportunity for designers to incorporate vintage beer bottles into their lighting creations. - **Dim Ambient Lighting:** Opportunity to create a cozy and intimate atmosphere with dimly lit beer bottle lamps. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to offer beer bottle lamps as unique lighting options. - **Craft and DIY:** Opportunity for craft and DIY industry to create DIY kits or workshops for making beer bottle lamps. - **Beverage Packaging:** Opportunity for beverage packaging companies to collaborate with designers in repurposing beer bottles into lamps. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Beer Branded Leg Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miller-high-life-leg-lamp-beer-tower.md) - [Recycled Material Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozy-cleo-lamp.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Candle Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vintageinspired-candle-lamps.md) - [Antique-Style Building Block Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-led-lamp.md) - [Conceptual Craft Beer Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sour-glass.md) - [Recycled Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys-collection.md) - [Oversized Pen Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bic-lamp.md) - [Retro Vinyl Record-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gramophone-lamp.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md)
