Using a three-dimensional miniature house, this super colorful and beautifully lined bedroom illustration series takes us inside all the different rooms of this doll-like house.

Entitled 'Room For Rent,' the bedroom illustration series by Mike Ellis is part of an [experiential installation show](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/residence-exhibition) at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. Showing us what each room inside the [3D illustrated dollhouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pavilions-of-wonder) (Static Room, Nolan's, Mission Hill and Emma & Jameel) would look like, the artist uses [multicolor LEDs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robert-abbey-fine-lighting) to allow the audience to peek inside people's bedrooms. The LEDs help bring the illustrations to life and expose things we might not normally notice -- because we're usually not really looking for them.

The series is vibrant and shows the bedrooms in an architecturally illustrated way, which gives it an extra edge.
