With the side down, the baby is completely accessible. The side can be put in a half-up position to prevent roll-out once the baby reaches about 3 months of age. At about $300, the bedside crib and [travel cot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stokke) is made of [natural wood and cotton materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organic-crib-mattress1).
