# Weapon Storage Slumber Hide Your Handguns Under the Bed With BedBunker By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-07-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedbunker References: [ohgizmo](http://www.ohgizmo.com/2009/07/28/bedbunker-sleep-better-knowing-youre-on-top-of-70-hand-guns/) & [bedgunsafe](http://www.bedgunsafe.com/index.html) I can understand that home safety is a very important part of daily life. I think the BedBunker is officially the safest piece of home decor available to be purchased. Just to put it out there, the BudBunker is a bed with two [weapons drawers underneath it](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/armada-knife-display) (so much for storage space). Now you can keep your 12-gauge and your Desert Eagle safe inside the BedBunker until it’s time to lock and load on a burglar. This 1000+ pound baby is also [fireproof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inkas-safes) and $2,200 and up (depending on the size of the bed). The one warning I have is don’t let the burglar get into your BedBunker. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Home Safety Storage:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced storage solutions that prioritize home safety. - **Fireproof Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create fire-resistant furniture to protect valuables and enhance home security. - **Hidden Weapon Storage:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design innovative furniture with concealed compartments for storing weapons securely. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Security:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate advanced security systems with furniture for comprehensive protection. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with security experts to develop furniture that combines functionality and safety. - **Fireproofing Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced fire-resistant materials and technologies for use in various industries. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Overhead Storage Single Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otto-cobbo-bed.md) - [Biometric Firearm Smart Safes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyze-gun-safe.md) - [Ultra-Stylish Cannabis Safety Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cannabis-safety-box.md) - [Ultra-Durable Residential Safe Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brown-safe-manufacturing.md) - [Expertly Designed Vaults](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/round-vault-door.md) - [Underground Autonomous Shelter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plan-b-1.md) - [Sliding Desk-Equipped Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boomerang-bed.md) - [Truck Bed Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/truck-bed-storage-system.md) - [Steel Back Support Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleeping-duck-indestruct-bed.md)
