Especially perfect for public spaces, it combines a [bench with a unique lamp fixture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/traffic-light-bench) that not only sheds a vibrant glow, but also provides a bit of shelter. Taking on the shape of a large disc, the light is held up in a series of [branching arms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/larose-guyon). Beau & Bien created three different versions of The Urban Tree of Lights: Zeste (steel), Smile (fiberglass) and Union (fiberglass/teak or concrete/wood). These options make them perfectly suited to just about any space. Beau & Bien even added a special touch, the base acts as a WiFi hotspot. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Branching Outdoor Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate sustainable materials and smart features into outdoor furniture designs. - **Multifunctional Lighting Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine lighting and furniture elements to create versatile and space-saving solutions. - **Smart Public Spaces:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop interactive and connected outdoor environments that enhance user experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new materials and designs to create innovative and functional outdoor furniture. - **Lighting Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate unique lighting concepts into furniture and outdoor installations. - **Smart Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate IoT and connectivity features into public spaces to enhance convenience and accessibility. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Naturalistic Public Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/life-ark-outdoor-seat.md) - [Modular Mood Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumen-chair.md) - [Lantern-Inspired Soft Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fermob-lighting.md) - [Outdoor-Ready Structural Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-collection-1.md) - [Tree Branch-Formed Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/celestial-attraction.md) - [Urban Structural Street Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/symbiotic-urban-furniture.md) - [AI-Powered Cityscape Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-urban-furniture.md) - [Mushroom-Inspired Outdoor Light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kinno.md)
