New York-based artist Beatrice Coron's 'Papercuts' collection is an [intricate look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition) into fictional stories of structures that don't actually exist. Beatrice developed an interesting art form that consists of [cutting out sections of paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst) and turning them into amazing buildings full of people and story lines.

Each of her papercuts involves tiny, little cut-out people who inhabit complex structures. These obscure landscapes are filled with windows that give the viewer a glimpse into the mind of Beatrice and the chaotic nature of the pieces.

Beatrice studied art at the [Universite of Lyon III](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/centre-de-congrs) and was featured in a TED talk back in March 2011 speaking about her works as an artist. Her work and thoughts are both well worth the attention that they receive.
