# Monstrous MC Boombox Docks Beatbox Beats by Dr. Dre Blasts Tunes in Style By Matt Ho | Published 2011-10-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beatbox-beats-by-dr-dre References: [highsnobiety](http://www.highsnobiety.com/news/2011/10/13/monster-beats-by-dr-dre-beatbox/) & [beatsbydre](http://www.beatsbydre.com/products/Products.aspx?pid=B5772) The Beatbox Beats by Dr. Dre is a [chic piece of tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bang-olufsen-beosound-a1) made to pump out the beats in style. The Beatbox Beats by Dr. Dre is a much larger version of the Beatbox Portable, the previous design from the company. This is produced specifically to blast tunes at a great level, and with Monster’s technology, it does not disappoint. It may look fairly small for standard speakers, but the company guarantees it will fill the room with [surround sound](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boom-4). Interestingly, if you accidentally leave this on full blast, the system will gradually decrease the volume. Other details include a multi-purpose remote, a carrying handle and a dock for the [iPod](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowers-wilkins2). The design is a simple, monochromatic look. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Chic Audio Tech:** Innovative audio technology that combines functionality with chic design. - **Room-filling Sound:** Advanced technology that produces room-filling, surround sound. - **Gradual Volume Control:** Smart systems that have gradual volume control for accidental full-blast situations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Audio Equipment:** Innovative audio equipment and accessories that combine function with elegant design. - **Smart Home Technology:** Advanced smart home systems that feature room-filling sound and seamless connectivity. - **Entertainment:** Distinctive entertainment solutions that offer smart, powerful and convenient audio technology to consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Precise Portable Dynamic Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyperboom-speaker.md) - [Loud Oval-Structured Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epicboom-speaker.md) - [Luxe Compact Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiko-kostadinov-beats.md) - [Powerful Portable Party Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyperboom.md) - [Explosive Bass Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/db.md) - [Versatile Portable Bluetooth Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-bluetooth-speaker1.md) - [Rugged Bass-Boosted Speaker Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soundcore-boom-2-plus.md) - [Portable Wireless Immersive Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/megaboom-3.md) - [Ludicrously Loud Bluetooth Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loud-bluetooth-speaker.md)
