Bearhug Outerwear is launching on Kickstarter soon with its first campaign on the platform since 2015. The Bearhug Outerwear sweater is a heat-insulating sweater that the company refers to as "heat on demand." the sweater provides excellent heating through its large arm-sized compartments called 'Rib Zips' on either side of the front section. When a wearer places their arms in these pockets, the natural body heat of the wearer will warm the compartment while the material in the sweater will keep this heat insulated, essentially providing a natural heating solution whenever needed.

The company also states that the sweater is excellent for cooling and ventilation, if desired, as these pockets, when not filled, provide excellent airflow, keeping the wearer feeling fresh and comfortable in a variety of environments. The sweater also contains a dedicated phone pocket, an internal storage pocket, kangaroo pockets, and an adjustable hood.
