Shot glasses are often a way to branch out when it comes to standard kitchenware because usually a personal collection of the little cups will be eclectic and rather scattered. Shot glasses are usually given to friends and family as keepsakes from various vacations, which usually results in having a plethora of weird ones that only come out during evenings full of celebration. It's easy to incorporate a little bit of scientific flair into the collection with the beaker shot glasses that will hold a hefty 2oz shot that is also perfect for snifters of a fave scotch or whiskey. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.6/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Scientific-inspired Shot Glasses:** Embrace the trend of incorporating scientific elements into everyday objects by offering unique shot glasses resembling lab glassware. - **Eclectic Personal Collection:** Tap into the trend of personalized and eclectic shot glass collections by offering a variety of unique and quirky designs. - **Multi-purpose Shot Glasses:** Cater to the trend of using shot glasses for more than just shots by offering larger sizes that are also suitable for snifters or other types of drinks. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gifts and Souvenirs:** The gifts and souvenirs industry can take advantage of the trend of collecting unique shot glasses by offering a range of themed options for travelers and collectors. - **Kitchenware and Home Decor:** The kitchenware and home decor industry can seize the opportunity to create and market innovative shot glass designs that add a touch of creativity and personality to any home bar or kitchen. - **Alcoholic Beverage Industry:** The alcoholic beverage industry can leverage the trend of multi-purpose shot glasses by introducing new drink recipes and serving suggestions that highlight the versatility of these glasses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Self-Measuring Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-craft-hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Tequila Shot Glass Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tequila-shot-glass-board.md) - [Dedicated Craft Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-cocktail-glass.md) - [Themed Whiskey Decanters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiskey-decanters.md) - [Five-Sided Unique Whiskey Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unique-whiskey-glass.md) - [Brutalist-Inspired Artful Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/martini-shot-glass.md) - [Whiskey-Inspired Cocktail Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/awaz-glasses.md) - [Anatomy-Inspired Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/body-glasses.md) - [Colorful Elevated Glassware Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-glassware.md)
