These stunningly [colorful beach huts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/siesta-key) were created by the architecture firm Spark. The huts themselves are designed to be [elevated, like treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-nests-treepod-project) and are shaped like upside down pine cones.

The beautiful beach huts are a conceptual idea and will be located on the waterfront at Spark's Singapore office. The ultimate goal behind the creation of these huts was to find a clever way to use the mass amounts of plastic that continuously pollutes global waterways. Since much of this waste is generated by high-density polyethylene, the huts will be durable and weather-resistant.

The huts will are a conceptual project, which Spark plans to allow campers and tourists to use in the hopes that it will raise awareness of oceanic pollution. It will then simultaneously provide an eco-friendly solution for the existing [plastic waste](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surf-block-maui).
