The BCBG Max Azria Fall 2014 show that walked the runway at New York Fashion week was a triumphant 25th anniversary show, highlighting some of its signature brand elements that have made it so successful; color-blocking, asymmetry and juxtaposing materials were all part of this story. Another unmissable component of the Fall 2014 collection was [fur and lots of it](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ducies-fw25-collection). Furs from foxes, raccoons, rabbits and sheepskin was used as trim on coats, collars and as hand-warming muffs. There’s one jacket that goes all out with the animal fur and although it would surely keep its wearer warm, it’s a little excessive.

With fur, colors and garments like ponchos, the relaxed look of the silhouettes gave the whole collection a [70s feel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prefall-2026-collection), that made it all about celebrating the past just as much as the future of BCBG Max Azria in fashion for years to come.
