The unit works by being positioned in recessed ceilings and will deliver impressive illumination thanks to the [large number of LEDs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilo-lamp) positioned into the light. A series of [articulating wings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pivoting-lamps-collection) are positioned onto either side of the light to allow for illumination to be directed to the sides or directly downwards, according to needs. The RAB L34 bay light features a body crafted out of 100% recycled plastic and maintains a utilitarian construction perfect for placement in a range of different spaces. This makes it great for professional or personal workstations and even education settings. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Customizable Lighting Solutions:** Developing customizable lighting solutions for different spaces to meet varying needs. - **Innovative Workstation Lighting:** Designing innovative lighting solutions for workstations that can be personalized to the user's preferences. - **Eco-friendly Lighting Fixtures:** Creating eco-friendly lighting fixtures for sustainable and efficient lighting in different settings. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to offer customizable lighting solutions for clients' varied lighting needs and preferences. - **Manufacturing:** Potential for lighting manufacturers to create more eco-friendly and personalized workstation lights to meet the needs of different industries and settings. - **Education:** Opportunity for educational institutions to utilize personalized and efficient lighting fixtures such as the RAB L34 bay light in classrooms and other learning environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flexible Workstation Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archflex-desk-lamp.md) - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md) - [Customizable Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hilight-r9-desk-lamp.md) - [Industrial Contemporary Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shop-light.md) - [Dynamically Customizable Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illum-desk-light.md) - [Eco-Friendly Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-projects.md) - [Customizable Magnetic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-magnetic-lamp.md) - [Recycled Cardboard Workspace Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graypants-dash-linear-light-fixture.md) - [Artful Sconce Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-wing-lee.md)
