# Vigilante Symbol Torches The Batman Light Signal Key Chain Shines with Justice By Matt Ho | Published 2011-09-12 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batman-light-signal-key-chain References: [thinkgeek](http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/lights/e9a8/) & [thinkgeek](http://www.thinkgeek.com/) While owning the actual light that reflects the Bat symbol is unfortunately impossible, I’d be more than willing to settle for the Batman Light Signal Key Chain. When night comes and criminals decide to mess around in Gotham City, all Lieutenant Gordon has to do is shine the Bat signal into the air and Bruce Wayne will be out to do some damage. While a real spotlight would be too expensive and take up a ton of space, there’s still the option of having the Batman Light Signal Key Chain. The [miniature torch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/butane-torch) takes the form of Chris Nolan’s take on the [Dark Knights emblem](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dark-knight-collection), which has wonderfully graced theaters. Shine the light onto the wall and watch Batman’s signal shine gloriously. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Miniature Torch Keychains:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the keychain industry by creating miniature torch keychains in various popular symbols or logos. - **Pop Culture Symbol Merchandise:** Opportunities to disrupt the merchandise industry by creating unique and collectible items featuring popular symbols from movies or comics. - **Portable Projection Technology:** Opportunities to disrupt the lighting industry with small, portable projection devices that can display various symbols or logos. ### Who This Affects Most - **Keychain Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the keychain industry by creating miniature torch keychains in various popular symbols or logos. - **Merchandise Industry:** Opportunities to disrupt the merchandise industry by creating unique and collectible items featuring popular symbols from movies or comics. - **Lighting Industry:** Opportunities to disrupt the lighting industry with small, portable projection devices that can display various symbols or logos. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Automatic Illumination Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bullet2.md) - [Interactive Pocket Torches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-loopdot.md) - [Buildable 3D Superhero Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gotham-city-skyline-set.md) - [Magnetic Pop-Open Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ysmart-mq3.md) - [Powerfully Compact Tactical Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tactical-flashlight.md) - [Building Block Superhero Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batcave-shadowbox.md) - [Illuminating Miniature Multifunctional Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maglight-mini.md) - [Vintage-Inspired Flashlight Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barebones-edison-light-stick.md) - [Diminutive Dual-Beam Flashlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightweight-flashlight.md)
