Gone is the mystery behind these sexy villainess masks, as these women almost bare it all. Remember, it’s only burlesque, after all. Avid fans of the [comic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas) will get to drool over almost any [Batman bad girl](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/saint-mxxxxxx) of their dreams with this [Batman burlesque](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arkham-asylum-set), and a few of the male villains even take on a female form. I found the female Joker just as charming as the original. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Burlesque Performances:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring new themes and characters for burlesque shows, appealing to different fan bases. - **Gender-swapped Characters:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating unique and unexpected character portrayals by gender-swapping iconic comic book villains. - **Fan-centric Experiences:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Offering immersive experiences that allow fans to interact with their favorite comic book characters in unconventional ways. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating burlesque performances as a fresh and engaging form of entertainment in theaters, clubs, and events. - **Cosplay:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Encouraging gender-bending cosplay by promoting and showcasing gender-swapped versions of popular comic book characters. - **Event Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with burlesque performers and comic book artists to organize creative and themed events that cater to dedicated fans. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Buildable 3D Superhero Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gotham-city-skyline-set.md) - [Dark Superhero Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batman-x-blvck-collection.md) - [Villainous Comic Character Makeup](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolution-beauty-x-dc-supervillains-collection.md) - [All-Black Touring Burlesque Companies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touring-burlesque-company.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Comic-Themed RPG Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jam-city.md) - [Collaboration Superhero Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bazooka-bubble-gum-and-dc-comics.md) - [Bat-Inspired Luxury Hypercar Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-hypercar.md) - [Building Block Superhero Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batcave-shadowbox.md)
