# Bent Tube Bathroom Fixtures The 'Hollow Sink' Bathroom Sink Design Looks Chicly Bent By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2016-01-20 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bathroom-sink-design References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2016/01/20/the-sunken-sink/) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/gallery/31229999/Hollow-Sink-Laufen) Created to look like a tube that has been bent by some sort of force, the 'Hollow Sink' is a bathroom sink design intended to offer users an all in one design that's overtly modern yet useable. Designed by Kovacs Apor and the Hunap Studio, the 'Hollow Sink' is exceptionally beautiful and crafted from ceramic, which allows it to mold beautifully without calling too much attention to itself. Best of all, the 'Hollow Sink' is outfitted with storage features on the left and right side; shelves on the former and a small cabinet on the latter. The beautiful bathroom sink design offers a functional yet fashionable way to help update living spaces without negating the fact that the fixture is required for continuous use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Bent Tube Fixtures:** Opportunity for innovative designs that mimic bent tubes for various fixtures. - **All-in-one Design:** Potential for integrating multiple functionalities into one sleek design for various products. - **Functional Fashion:** Demand for functional yet visually appealing designs for everyday use products. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixtures:** Innovative bathroom fixture manufacturers can create bent tube designs with added storage features. - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can explore all-in-one solutions that combine functionality and modern aesthetics. - **Home Decor:** Home decor brands can meet the demand for fashionable and functional products for living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Collaborative Seashell-Like Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spire-washbasin.md) - [Ultra-Modern Freestanding Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freestanding-sink.md) - [Illuminated Base Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-albumelux.md) - [Slick Bathroom Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slick-bathroom-sink.md) - [Textural Bathroom Sink Basins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/washbasin-collection.md) - [Museum-Like Bathroom Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-face-bathroom-collection.md) - [Electric Kiln-Made Unique Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-1.md) - [Dynamic Marble Sink Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infinito.md) - [Water Flow-Inspired Kiln Sinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volta-collection.md)
