The sculpture features many characteristics of the [classic cartoon character](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-simpsons-krusty-burger) we’ve grown to love. The artist kept Bart’s iconic hairstyle and menacing attitude as the little sculpture looks about ready to wreak havoc on the citizens of Springfield, but without the help of his slingshot and skateboard. Even though this [steampunked Bart Simpson sculpture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1) doesn’t have any of his traditional tools of vandalism and pranking, he’s still one character that I wouldn’t want to mess with. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Steampunk Art:** This futuristic, neon green Bart Simpson sculpture showcases the growing trend of steampunk art, merging classic cartoon characters with futuristic aesthetics. - **Retrofuturism:** This sculpture represents the trend of retrofuturism, blending elements of the past and the future to create a unique and edgy artwork. - **Pop Culture Mashup:** The creation of this steampunk Bart Simpson sculpture reflects the trend of combining different pop culture references to create visually striking and thought-provoking pieces of art. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can explore opportunities in creating more steampunk artworks that fuse popular characters with futuristic elements, attracting a niche audience. - **Collectibles and Memorabilia:** The collectibles and memorabilia industry can capitalize on the trend of retrofuturism by creating limited-edition sculptures featuring iconic characters reimagined in futuristic styles, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts. - **Creative Merchandising:** The creative merchandising industry has an opportunity to leverage the trend of pop culture mashup by creating licensed and limited-edition merchandise that combines various popular characters, catering to fans looking for unique and innovative collectibles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cartoon Robot Art Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/astro-boy-figure.md) - [Artful Anime-Blending Split Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/split-bust.md) - [Sci-Fi Show Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yusuke-hanai-1.md) - [Afro-Futuristic Marble Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gaia.md) - [Animated Streetwear Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-simpsons-x-family-mart.md) - [Cartoon Franchise-Inspired Clogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-simpsons-classic-clog.md) - [Americana Subculture-Themed Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bullet-proof.md) - [Creature-Like Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pink-robots-won.md) - [Eroded Cartoon-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystalized-squirtle.md)
