It provides a [small sleeping bag attachment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rumpl-wrap-sack-20) for canine companions. Shaped like a teardrop, the Barker Bag by Andy Storms is ideal for connecting to the side of one sleeping bag or between two bags. This connection allows the sleepers to share their body heat instead of taking away from it. It even comes with a built-in dog collar so that their [furry heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heated-dog-vest) are not obstructed throughout the night. They are excellent night lookouts after all. The collar is adjustable to make their rest as comfortable as possible. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Dog Sleeping Bag Attachments:** The trend towards dog sleeping bag attachments that allow pets and their owners to share body heat for added warmth and comfort at night. - **Pet Camping Gear:** The emerging trend of designing and marketing pet-specific camping gear that improves the outdoor experience for both pets and their owners. - **Shared Sleeping Gear:** The trend of designing sleeping gear that allows multiple individuals, or in this case, pets and their owners, to share the same space for added warmth and intimacy. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Gear:** The outdoor gear industry can capitalize on developing specialized gear that aids in pet camping trips and outdoor excursions for pet owners. - **Pet Supplies:** The pet supplies industry can expand its offerings to include pet-specific camping gear like the Barker Bag that caters to the growing population of pet owners that enjoy outdoor activities with their pets. - **Design and Innovation:** Design and innovation firms can develop a disruptive product or solution that addresses the issue of warmth and comfort when sharing a sleeping bag with a pet or multiple individuals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Air Mattress-Equipped Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trekroll-sleeping-bag.md) - [Conceptual Temperature-Control Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleepp.md) - [Wearable Campsite Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/momonga-wearable-sleeping-bag.md) - [Battery-Powered Heated Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coleman-onesource-heated-sleeping-bag.md) - [Modular Ergonomic Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barc-dog-bed.md) - [All-Terrain Inflatable Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outtask-jessigo-outdogs-airpad.md) - [Stabilized Dog Hiking Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hiking-backpack.md) - [Extreme Environment Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerogel-sleeping-bag.md) - [Comfy Pet-Inspired Blankets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foggy-dog.md)
