This new range builds upon the brand's Reveal releases and it delights kids with a [scented doll](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yummiland-doll) with color-changing hair and makeup, plus more surprises for them to discover. There are four friends in the range, each with eight sensory surprises in a package. The dolls in varieties like Strawberry Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Watermelon Crush and Grape Fizz come in drinking cup-inspired packages containing slime, fashions and squishy pets. The engaging unboxing experience includes a top that can be popped and slime that drips over "ice" cubes, and at the end of it all, kids can repeat the Pop Reveal experience over and over again. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 17% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Scented Dolls:** New range of scented dolls with color-changing hair and makeup provides a sensory surprise for kids. - **Color-changing Hair:** Barbie Pop Reveal introduces dolls with color-changing hair, adding to the excitement of the unboxing experience. - **Engaging Unboxing:** Pop Reveal dolls offer an engaging unboxing experience with surprise elements like slime and squishy pets. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Toy Industry:** The launch of Barbie Pop Reveal highlights the innovation opportunities in the toy industry, particularly in the realm of sensory surprises and engaging unboxing experiences. - **Fashion Industry:** The dolls' fashions in the Barbie Pop Reveal range present possibilities for collaborations and partnerships within the fashion industry, leveraging the appeal of surprise and novelty. - **Beauty Industry:** The introduction of dolls with color-changing hair and makeup in Barbie Pop Reveal showcases potential disruptive innovation opportunities in the beauty industry, encouraging creativity and customization. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Surprise-Filled Costumed Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-cutie-reveal.md) - [Cuddly Costumed Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-cutie-reveal-care-bears.md) - [Candy-Themed Toy Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lol-surprise-1.md) - [Flower-Scented Collectible Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cry-babies-magic-tears-happy-flowers.md) - [Fashion Doll Sodas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olipop-x-barbie.md) - [Fragrant Rollerball Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yummiland-num-noms-body-scents.md) - [Fantastical Collectible Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fantasythemed-dolls.md) - [Sensory ASMR-Style Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/incredible-group.md) - [Immersive Dollhouse Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-dreamhouse-candle.md)
