The notorious British [graffiti artist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rusto) Banksy had his world premier as a film director with the film 'Exit Through the Gift Shop.' The Banksy film debut was a hot ticket at the 2010 [Sundance Film Festival](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wes-anderson-the-archives) this week.

As a street artist Banksy can't seem to put a foot wrong and judging by the hype of his first film venture, Exit Through the Gift Shop might bring him equal amounts of street creed as a director.

The movie falls in the comedy genre and contains exclusive footage of many world renowned names on the [street art scene](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1) including Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Invader and many more. Banksy describes it as so: “It’s basically the story of how one man set out to film the un—filmable. And failed."

I cant wait to catch this hot ticket at the box office.
