The unit is characterized first and foremost by its parametric wave-inspired upper section that offers visual intrigue, while also helping to further enhance the [mid-century modern aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-speaker). The wave-like upper also features a dedicated section for the remote control, while the overall design speaks to a sense of Scandinavian minimalism that doesn't hold back on rich warmth to ensure it fits in well with a living space. The Bang & Olufsen soundbar concept is rendered in Grasshopper 3D and was explained further by Dalakishvili who said, "During the development,” Dalakishvili explains, “the goal was to achieve a strict style, but not devoid of emotionality. A soundbar can fit perfectly into a laconic interior, and if necessary, become an extravagant art object.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Parametric Design Audio Equipment:** Designing audio equipment with visually intriguing and functional parametric wave-inspired upper sections to enhance aesthetics and provide a unique listening experience. - **Scandinavian Minimalism in Home Audio:** Incorporating Scandinavian minimalism in the design of home audio equipment to create sleek, warm, and functional pieces that seamlessly blend in with living spaces. - **3D Rendering in Audio Equipment Design:** Utilizing 3D rendering software to create realistic and detailed design concepts for audio equipment that can be easily modified based on user needs. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Audio Equipment Manufacturing:** Manufacturing and designing home audio equipment that focuses on creating aesthetically pleasing, functional, and minimalistic pieces for modern living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Incorporating audio equipment with unique and visually intriguing designs, allowing designers to create new and inspiring living spaces with elegant home audio equipment. - **Grasshopper 3D Software Company:** Developing software tools for audio equipment manufacturers and designers, enabling them to create customizable and realistic 3D rendering designs for high-quality and functional audio equipment products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Opulent Aluminum Soundbars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bang-olufsen-beosound-premiere.md) - [Artistic Wall-Mounted Audio Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beogram-remaster.md) - [Minimalist Soundbar Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kef-xio.md) - [Cinema-Grade Sound Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beosound-theatre.md) - [Luxury Home Soundbar Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-soundbar-speaker.md) - [Modularly Elegant Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bang-olufsen-orchestra.md) - [Aesthetically Designed Home Soundbars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/symphony-opus-one.md) - [Basket-Resembling Premium Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beosound-a5.md) - [Future-Proof Luxurious Portable Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beosound-a5-portable-speaker.md)
