Bane Speaks nails Christopher Nolan’s decision to use a muffled and distorted voice for the villain of the upcoming film Dark Knight Rises. Fans were already mocking the movies over Nolan’s decision to allow Christian Bale to use a husky voice whenever he was operating as Batman, but after audiences got a taste of Bane’s speech, many of them fear the entire movie will be inaudible, as lovingly demonstrated by this video.

Bane Speaks has Batman and Bane on a rooftop in an exchange that’s hilariously incomprehensible, as pointed out by the actress playing Commissioner Gordon. At one point, the video employs [subtitles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/specsavers-campaign) to help audiences understand what’s going on, but it quickly disintegrates into gibberish.

Will The Dark Knight Rises ultimately be as hilarious as this [parody video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reinfell-ad)? I guess fans will have to wait until summer 2012 to find out.
