# Spiked Building Corner Designs Ball-Nogues Places a Sharp Installation on the Dylan Apartment By Jamie Danielle Munro | Published 2014-06-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ballnogues References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/architecture/ball-nogues-studio-corner-glory-los-angeles-06-25-2014/) & [ball-nogues](http://www.ball-nogues.com/) Ball-Nogues studio couldn't wait long before putting their finishing touches on the recently designed Dylan building in California. The latest installation from the studio is titled '[Corner Glory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bodyscape-installation),' which features [mirrored spikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zigzag-collection) coming out of the corner of the building. The installation is not temporary, so hopefully residences of the area are welcome to the idea of a very noticeable piece of artwork placed in this section of the [apartment building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bomun-house). When looking up at the piece, it looks as if the top area is a set of eyelashes, with an excessive amount of mascara being used. However, when looking from a different perspective the design goes back to looking more like sharp mirrored objects. Corner Glory is definitely noticeable when walking down the street.
