Characterized by its [cylindrical body](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-o), offset by terraces recessed deep into the exterior walls, the Balint House is located near a golf course in Betera. Both the upper and lower terraces are outfitted with expansive glazing, allowing visual access to the home's surroundings, including the golf course. A pool mirroring the shape of the upper stone patio forms a semi-circle around the periphery of the house. The curvaceous silhouette and oblong roof of the house suggest a matching interior plan; however, this is not the case. Inside, the home features a simple, [rectangular plan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-tres-patis) in which the public and private spaces are easily allocated over three levels. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 89% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Curvaceous Architecture:** Crisp Convex Residences like the Balint House showcase the trend of curvaceous architecture, creating unique and visually striking structures. - **Terrace Integration:** Crisp Convex Residences embrace the trend of terrace integration, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces to enhance the living experience. - **Geometric Pool Designs:** Crisp Convex Residences introduce the trend of geometric pool designs, incorporating pools that mirror the shape and aesthetic of the surrounding architecture. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture and Design:** The Balint House and similar structures present disruptive innovation opportunities in the field of architecture and design, inspiring new approaches to shape, form, and integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. - **Real Estate:** Crisp Convex Residences offer innovative and visually striking options for real estate developers and buyers seeking unique and memorable properties. - **Hospitality and Tourism:** Crisp Convex Residences have the potential to revolutionize the hospitality and tourism industry, providing guests with immersive and extraordinary accommodations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Panoramic Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-95.md) - [Chic Curved Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curved-house1.md) - [Sculptural Inverted Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-with-an-inverted-roof.md) - [Curved Garden-Surrounding Linear Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-dos-terraos-circulares.md) - [Forested Circular Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-omah-prana.md) - [Curved Surface Portuguese Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-within-a-few-lines.md) - [Floating Level Aesthetic Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oak-house-1.md) - [Boxy Shaped Beach Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roman-izquierdo-bouldstridge.md) - [Warm Tonal Textural Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bolvar-house.md)
