The product features the base of Baileys Original [Irish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-extra-thick-chocolate-cream) Cream that has been enhanced with fresh mint, dark chocolate and vanilla flavors to give it a decadent profile. The incorporation of mint in the mix helps the creamy liqueur to not be too cloying or rich, while the 17% ABV makes it suitable for a range of cocktail recipes. The product is arriving at bars and restaurants on March 11, while shoppers can find it in-store starting April 1, 2024. Director of [Gins, Pimms, Baileys and Non-Alc](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-birthday-cake) at [Diageo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-vanilla-mint-shake) Charlotte Gibbon spoke on the Baileys Mint Choc Milkshake saying, "At Baileys, we’re sticking to our Irish roots by launching Mint Choc Shake around St Patrick’s Day. Treating should be an everyday occasion, but our latest limited edition flavour offers a completely unique experience to shake things up this year. Delicious on its own or enjoyed as the Mint Choc Shake and Mint Choc Sipper, our new flavour is perfect for mint lovers.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 22% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Decadent Flavor Combinations:** Incorporating fresh mint, dark chocolate, and vanilla in liqueurs creates a decedent taste experience for consumers. - **Limited-edition Offerings:** Launching seasonal flavors like Baileys Mint Choc Milkshake opens up opportunities for exclusive and time-sensitive product releases. - **Creative Cocktail Ingredients:** Introducing unique liqueurs like Baileys Mint Choc Shake inspires innovative cocktail recipes and mixology trends. ### Where This Applies - **Alcoholic Beverages:** The alcoholic beverages industry can explore new flavor combinations to attract consumers seeking indulgent and unique drinking experiences. - **Hospitality and Foodservice:** The hospitality and foodservice sector has the chance to offer exclusive beverages like Baileys Mint Choc Milkshake to enhance customer experiences. - **Retail and Consumer Goods:** Retailers in the consumer goods sector can leverage limited-edition offerings to drive sales and create excitement around seasonal products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Discounted Spring-Ready Liqueurs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys.md) - [St. Patrick's-Themed Liqueurs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-vanilla-mint-shake.md) - [Refreshing Liqueur Truffle Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-chocolate-mint-truffles.md) - [Rich Chocolate Liqueurs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-chocolate-liqueur.md) - [Blend-It-Yourself Milkshakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mint-choc-chip-milkshake.md) - [Irish Liqueur Dessert Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-extra-thick-chocolate-cream.md) - [Creamy Cocktail-Inspired Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baileys-choctails.md) - [Luxe Liqueur Ice Creams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carte-dor-baileys.md) - [Minty Chocolate Cookie Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mint-oreo-shake.md)
