This installation creates a fascinating space composed of geometrical shapes and colorful rays of light. The piece evokes in many ways the Cubist era as voluminous squared, geometrical shapes are the main component of the installation. This mesmerizing art consists of colored, polygonal acrylic glass tiles that are illuminated by a projector. This technique causes an interesting effect where the shapes appear reflected on the walls and ceilings in 3D forms. In addition, these shapes produce a visual illusion by creating different depths of field. Bahar Yurukoglu brings new dimensions to everyday spaces. When projected, this installation lasts just over eight minutes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.8/10 - Popularity: 58% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geometric Installations:** Opportunity for artists and designers to create immersive and visually captivating experiences through the use of geometric shapes and light. - **Visual Illusion Art:** Potential for artists to explore the concept of perception and depth through the creation of 3D illusions using acrylic glass tiles and projectors. - **Cubist-inspired Art:** Chance for artists to pay homage to the Cubist era by incorporating voluminous squared shapes and vibrant colors into their installations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can leverage the trend of geometric installations to create unique and engaging experiences for viewers. - **Lighting and Projection:** Opportunity for lighting and projection companies to provide innovative solutions for creating visual illusion art. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can embrace the trend of Cubist-inspired art installations to add a touch of modernity and vibrancy to commercial and residential spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Texture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Hanging Portal-Like Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-installation.md) - [Nature-Inspired Urban Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1.md) - [Unique Interactive Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-aurora.md) - [Stunningly Intricate Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [Dynamic Mathematically Shaped Surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mathematically-shaped.md)
