The suitcase is constructed with ABS plastic that is capable of handling up to 150-kilograms of weight and can thus be opened up to reveal space for sitting on. This means it can be used as a lounge chair, bench or even a makeshift bed to accommodate travelers spending extended periods in an airport terminal. The BAGLETTI suitcase is also paired with ample storage space inside for personal items and technology along with a power bank for charging devices to maximize its efficiency during long trips. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Transformative Luggage Design:** Opportunities for creating versatile luggage designs for travelers to carry and use their essentials, resting and sleeping needs. - **Airport Terminal Furnishings:** Opportunities for creating airport furnishings that cater to the needs of travelers, including functional and comfortable pieces such as lounge chairs and benches. - **Modular Furniture:** Opportunities for creating modular furniture that serves multiple functions and accommodates the needs of users in various ways, such as a suitcase that transforms into a bed or chair. ### Who This Affects Most - **Luggage Manufacturing:** The luggage manufacturing industry has the opportunity to innovate and create versatile luggage designs for travelers that serve multiple purposes in addition to carrying their belongings. - **Airport Furniture and Fixtures:** The airport furniture and fixtures industry can create functional and comfortable pieces that cater to the needs of travelers, including lounge chairs and benches that can be used for resting or sleeping. - **Furniture Design and Manufacturing:** The furniture design and manufacturing industry can create modular furniture that serves multiple functions and accommodates the needs of users in various ways, such as a suitcase that transforms into a bed or chair. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bedside Table-Equipped Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suitcase-design.md) - [Functional Furniture Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lulley-luggage-trolley.md) - [Business Traveler Suitcase Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/capsule-luggage.md) - [Inflatable Tote-Style Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bag-sofa.md) - [Stroller-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-journey-suitcase.md) - [Closet-Equipped Luggage Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flightable-closet.md) - [Collapsible Space-Saving Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jollying-pebble-suitcase.md) - [Wardrobe-Style Luggage Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drobe-luggage.md) - [Stroller-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-journey-travel-case.md)
