The Bag Stools created by designer Gitta Gschwendtner don't look comfortable by any means. Commissioned by [Time Out Magazine](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphpaper-ss27) and the [Design Museum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rio-pouffe), Gschwendtner created these stools on the theme “Consume.” The stools are made of [concrete and wood fiber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noah-folding-stool), making them slightly environmentally-friendly, while their shape serves as the link to consumerism. The stools are currently on show at the Design Museum.

**Implications** - With the plain, white design, Gitta Gschwendter's Bag Stools truly look like the real thing. The folds of the bag at the side and minor puckering of the design adds a realistic look to them. The stools' realistic aesthetic makes the viewer wary of their true materials as well as take precautions before sitting on them.
