# Converta-Seats The Bada Table by Ecosystems Transforms from a Table to a Loveseat By Rose Nazarali | Published 2009-05-17 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bada-table-ecosystems References: [ecosystemsbrand](http://www.ecosystemsbrand.com/) The table and love-seat have merged together and had a lovechild - its name is the Bada Table by Ecosystems. At first glance, the Bada Table looks like any old wood table, but this is oh so much more, my friends! With the flick of a latch and a couple of pulls and tugs, the Bada Table quickly transforms into a love-seat; and it doesn't look half bad either. Plus, it uses less materials than it would take to make two separate pieces of furniture, so it's eco-friendly too! This design is perfect for those city dwellers in their [small apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table). This [multi-functional piece of furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-table) is also great for entertaining. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 51% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multi-functional Furniture:** Designing furniture that morphs into different forms and serves multiple purposes. - **Eco-friendly Design:** Creating furniture made from fewer materials and/or utilizing sustainable materials to reduce environmental impact. - **Urban Living Solutions:** Developing furniture that is space-saving and fits the needs of people living in smaller homes or apartments. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovating manufacturing processes to create multi-functional, sustainable furniture for urban living. - **Interior Design:** Designing interiors with eco-friendly and multi-functional furniture that adapts to the needs of smaller spaces. - **Real Estate Development:** Building homes and apartments with multi-functional furniture in mind, to cater to the needs of urban living. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Expanding Three-in-One Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expandy.md) - [Industrial Shapeshifting Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jointable.md) - [Compact Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-1.md) - [Modular Table Seatings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-and-chair.md) - [Reversable Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reverse.md) - [Multifuntional Modular Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-table.md) - [Angular Transforming Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/optimus-furniture.md) - [Adaptive Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture.md) - [Versatile Modular Couches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformer-couch-20.md)
