# Crispy Fridge Accessories Bacon Slice Magnets are Not Porky the Pig-Approved By Michael Hines | Published 2010-05-22 | Updated 2010-05-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bacon-slice-magnets References: [uniquedaily](http://www.uniquedaily.com/bacon-slices-magnets/) & [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/listing/47215456/4-bacon-slices-magnets) My stomach is growling after checking out the glory in these Bacon Slice Magnets. These magnets come to us courtesy of [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arcade-clock) merchant DesignDude, and are the [crispiest and crunchiest](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coleman-introduces) way to stick any and everything to your fridge. Bacon Slice Magnets look good enough to eat. I'm not normally a fan of fridge magnets because they encourage fridge photos, which sporadically fall down and make a mess. I'm pretty sure I could find a place in my heart, and my fridge, for Bacon Slice Magnets. Just this one time though. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Food-inspired Accessories:** The trend of creating accessories inspired by food opens up opportunities for innovative and unique product designs. - **Novelty Magnets:** The trend of creating unconventional magnets like Bacon Slice Magnets presents opportunities for creating fun and quirky home decor items. - **Functional Decor:** The trend of combining functionality with decorative elements, as seen in Bacon Slice Magnets, offers opportunities for creating practical and stylish products for the home. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can explore incorporating food-inspired accessories like Bacon Slice Magnets to offer consumers unique and eye-catching products. - **Gifts and Souvenirs:** The gifts and souvenirs industry can tap into the trend of novelty magnets by offering customers a wide range of quirky and humorous options, such as Bacon Slice Magnets. - **Kitchenware:** The kitchenware industry can embrace the trend of functional decor by creating innovative and functional fridge magnets like Bacon Slice Magnets that add both style and utility to the kitchen. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ready-to-Eat Plant-Based Bacon](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crispy-bacon-style-strips.md) - [Pre-Cooked Vegan Bacon Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bacon-snack-factory.md) - [Ready-To-Cook Bacon Steaks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wildflour-bakery.md) - [Carrot Bacon Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carrot-bacon.md) - [Candied Bacon QSR Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hardees-candied-bacon.md) - [Breakfast-Themed Gummy Candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bacon-eggs-shaped-sweet-gummy-candies.md) - [Bacon-Scented Wrapping Papers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-label-bacon-wrapping-paper.md) - [Sour Bacon-Flavored Candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sour-punch-bacon-bites.md) - [Cider-Flavored Bacon Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-label-apple-cider-bacon.md)
