The Monbaby baby monitor button has a built-in accelerometer that tracks the baby's movements, orientation, activity levels and even its breathing. Each parameter is recorded five times per second and relayed via Bluetooth 4.0 to the [companion smartphone app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-napper). The app then displays the information in real-time, revealing whether the baby is sleeping on its back or stomach, whether its tossing or turning and even whether its about to wake up. Alerts can be programmed that pertain to specific events, for example if your baby rolls over to sleep on its stomach. Monbaby stores all collected data in a cloud. Users can then access this information online and share it with their doctor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Baby Monitors:** Developing and launching smart baby monitors with advanced features like motion sensors and real-time notification systems. - **Internet of Things for Parenting:** Exploring how IoT technology can be applied to the parenting space through tools like baby monitors and smart diaper changing systems. - **Wearable Baby Technology:** Designing wearable technology like baby buttons or smart watches to facilitate real-time tracking for baby care and welfare. ### Where This Applies - **Baby Products Industry:** Introducing cutting-edge baby products like advanced baby monitors, wearable baby tech, and smart sensors to make the baby care experience convenient and productive. - **Internet of Things (iot) Industry:** Advancing IoT solutions to support baby care and parenting through smart home devices like baby monitors, smart toys, and intelligent diaper disposal systems. - **Healthtech Industry:** Collaborating with baby tech companies to create advanced smart health monitoring tools like baby monitors with real-time heart rate and oxygen monitoring capabilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleep-Monitoring Baby Sock Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/owlet-dream-duo.md) - [Baby-Monitoring Smart Mattresses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/babysense-cloud-smart-mattress.md) - [AI-Powered Baby Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-smart-baby-monitor.md) - [AI Baby Sleep Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/necoron.md) - [Advanced Baby Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-connected-baby-monitor.md) - [Baby-Tracking Smart Socks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eufy-smart-sock.md) - [Modern Baby Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ainanny-baby-monitor.md) - [Smart AI Baby Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/simshine.md) - [Infant Mood-Tracking Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ainenne.md)
