The table attempts to modernize foosball in almost every fashion. For starters, the table itself looks more like it belongs in a museum of contemporary art than in a rec room. Imbert has also integrated tech into his design by adding a [Bang & Olufsen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bang-olufsen-soundbar) sound system and smartphone connectivity. The smartphone connectivity allows players to bump their favorite tunes while they play. However, the most awesome thing about said connectivity is the fact that the B99 foosball table can transmit [game stats directly to your phone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electronic-throwing-game). This added level of interaction could potentially turn foosball into a much more competitive "sport." The B99 foosball table is still just a concept, but it seems like one that could easily become reality if the right people get involved. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 41% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modernized Foosball Tables:** The B99 foosball table concept is an example of how foosball is being modernized with integrated tech and contemporary design. - **Smartphone Connectivity in Gaming:** The smartphone connectivity feature of the B99 foosball table demonstrates the potential for integrating smartphones into traditional gaming experiences. - **Enhanced Gaming Interaction:** The game stats transmission feature of the B99 foosball table introduces a new level of interaction and competitiveness to the game. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** The modern design of the B99 foosball table showcases opportunities for innovative and contemporary furniture design in the gaming industry. - **Audio Technology:** The integration of a Bang & Olufsen sound system in the B99 foosball table highlights the potential for audio technology advancements in gaming equipment. - **Mobile App Development:** The smartphone connectivity and game stats transmission features of the B99 foosball table create opportunities for mobile app development that enhances gaming experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Encapsulated Soccer Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-football-game.md) - [Building Block Foosball Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-table-football.md) - [Limited-Edition Foosball Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/afternoon-light.md) - [Playful Foosball Toy Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-table-football-moc.md) - [Luxury Transparent Game Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/effetto-71-ping-pong-table.md) - [Subtly Smart Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/etto-table.md) - [Tech-Enriched Sports Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goal-concept.md) - [Digitized Board Game Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/board-game-consoles.md) - [Connected Soccer Training Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/voon-soccer.md)
