François de Martrin-Donos first created a base for his precarious pins so that they could remain steady when set in place. He decided on the shape of a circle since, in your backyard, players need not be restricted to an [alley approach](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-jacquemus-bowling-alley). Small divots for seven pins were molded into the stand, and another sneaky trick was also in integrated. The B-Round [bowling pins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowling-shoe-1) take on a fresh candle-like shape and are secured into the base by means of elastic strings. If knocked over, one simply needs to press a button with his foot to tighten them back into upright positions. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Outdoor Gaming:** B-Round creates a new trend of reimagining indoor games into outdoor activities. - **Eco-friendly Recreation:** B-Round's design is an opportunity for the recreation industry to create eco-friendly games. - **Interactive Gaming:** B-Round's elastic string design creates an opportunity for the gaming industry to rethink interactive gameplay. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Recreation:** B-Round's outdoor design provides an opportunity for the recreation industry to create innovative outdoor gaming products. - **Sports Equipment:** B-Round's unique pins and base design create an opportunity for the sports equipment industry to produce eco-friendly bowling equipment. - **Game Development:** B-Round's innovative interactive gameplay design creates an opportunity for the game development industry to rethink their approach to indoor and outdoor games. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Miniature Bowling Toy Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-n-bowl.md) - [Hybrid Backyard Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backyard-game.md) - [Boozy Backyard Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beer-darts.md) - [Finger-Sized Throwing Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tactic-games.md) - [Upbeat Bowling Venues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ballroom-bowl-expands.md) - [Tabletop Coin Game](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-change-quarter-bouncing-game.md) - [Digital Marble Tabletop Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funpop-tabletop-pinball-game.md) - [Game-Changing Tennis Equipments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bounce-tub.md) - [Film-Inspired Bowling Alleys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eastside-bowl.md)
