Mayenda's Maestro Tequilero Jesus Susunaga said: "Before even taking a sip, you'll notice the complex bouquet," noted Susunaga. "The incredibly rich aroma of honey, caramelization, and a touch of pepper carries through onto the palate with every sip. Mayenda brings forward layers of flavor, something truly special in a Blanco." The Mayenda Tequila Blanco pays tribute to the Mayahuel, the Aztec goddess of agave. The tequila is 100 percent Agave Azul made and is hand-harvested with a low jima cut of less than 3 cm to remove harshness and bitterness.
