This is the successor to 2021's 'AYANEO NEXT,' which at the time was one of the strongest - and only - handheld PCs on the market. Now that the industry has exploded with high-profile releases from [Valve](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loki-max), [GPD](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gpd-win-4-2024), and AYANEO, the company has revived the NEXT lineup with improved performance in every area. The AYANEO NEXT II features an unspecified Ryzen 7000-series CPU with a new discrete graphics chip, supposedly also from [AMD](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ayaneo-2). The device has a design that takes inspiration from the NEXT as well as the Steam Deck with a large screen, off-set joysticks, and face buttons near the top of the shell. This offers optimal ergonomics without compromising on design.
